Thermoforming Operators (Forming or Extrusion Experience Preferred)– 12 hour night shift (no rotating, 7pm-7am – training on 10hr day shift for up to 3 months)Responsible for starting equipment, performing necessary line condition checks, performing minor maintenance and making necessary adjustments to equipment to insure equipment performance and product quality. Monitor product quality with Gage-Talker III quality system, the measurex system, and other dimensional measuring tools to insure value-added products and be responsible for the quality of the product being manufactured; as well as, being able to make changes to line setup to insure product is within product specifications. Strive toward producing products at standard weights SPM. Conformance to final assembly and machine efficiency. To provide necessary data to support changes to standards. Monitor sheet profile and make adjustments so product weights are at the normal weight. Assist in training new employees. Support other employees when assistance is needed. Participate in small process improvement teams. Operates thermoforming machinery (Browns, Irwins, One-Shots) to production specification and speed within a safe manner, producing a high quality product in an efficient manner. Mfg Machine Operation experience required (2-3years min).
